Planning commission pulls two Battleground parcels into UGA recommendation; one parcel not studied in DEIS
The planning commission recommended adding parcels (including Nos. 26 and 27) to the Battleground UGA; staff noted two parcels were in Alternative 3 and studied, one parcel was not included in the DEIS and thus may be legally problematic to approve without further analysis.

Jose Alvarez explained that Battleground requested three site-specific additions to its UGA; two of those parcels were part of Alternative 3 and were studied in the DEIS, while one parcel was not. Jose said the total proposed expansion to the west and north would be about 488 acres and that a reduction in the Meadowglade portion selected in the preferred alternative would be roughly 327 acres.
