The commission reviewed a draft resolution approving a conditional‑use permit for the Claussen solar power and battery energy storage project, including project conditions on FAA coordination, setbacks, decommissioning financial security, spill prevention plans and protections for the Clipper Western Canal. During discussion a commissioner urged tabling the resolution until a new ordinance is in place and recommended a closed‑session meeting with legal counsel to review the year‑long record; the motion to table passed 2–1.
