The Emery County Commission voted on Sept. 15 to impose a temporary 180‑day moratorium on the acceptance, processing and consideration of Level 2 and Level 3 conditional use permit applications. Commissioner Jensen moved the ordinance to give planning and zoning time to reconcile contradictory ordinance language; the motion passed by recorded voice vote.
