Todd County’s MIS director asked the board to authorize posting and hiring a MIS specialist lead position to address higher‑level backend projects that exceed the MIS technician skillset. The director said the position would be posted internally, would not increase the department headcount and that there is a one‑grade difference between the technician and specialist classifications.
