Local broker urges county to act now, study neighboring counties' rules

At the public‑comment period, real estate broker Bob Ghetto told the boards that the county should move promptly on the proposed code updates and study other Nevada counties' standards as models. "I think the time to do this is now," Ghetto said, urging the county to examine Lyon, Humboldt, Elko and Nye counties for comparable rules and a simple comparative spreadsheet to guide drafting.
