Transit director says NDOT funding kept Pahrump service running after operator exit
Anna Talamo, who identified herself as director of operations for a rural transit provider, told commissioners NDOT funded a transition after Pahrump Valley Public Transit staff left on May 4 and that her organization picked up service on May 5.

Anna Talamo introduced herself to the RTC during the public-comment period to request a future agenda item and to describe recent changes in Pahrump transit operations. Talamo said Pahrump Valley Public Transit "was served their notice not to operate anymore" and that after staff left—"They walked out the door on May 4"—her organization began providing service the next morning to avoid interruption.
