Commission approves RHB Properties fence and screening plan with 7-day fine contingency
The Cedar Lake Plan Commission approved a site-plan for RHB Properties to install a 6-foot privacy fence and modified screening, granting a waiver for 4-foot arborvitae at 50% spacing while requiring the petitioner to pay an outstanding $500 citation or provide proof of payment within seven business days.

Attorney Nathan Viss represented RHB Properties in seeking site-plan approval to install a 6-foot privacy fence along the western boundary of the property at 13418 Alexander Street and to add arborvitae plantings at other frontages. Viss told the commission the use would be interior storage with no outdoor storage and that an updated survey locates the fence in the required setback.
