Autauga County approves one-time RSA lump-sum payment for eligible retirees
The Autauga County Commission unanimously adopted Resolution 2026-48 to opt into Act 2026-608 and provide required funds for a one-time lump-sum retirement payment to eligible county retirees and beneficiaries; the resolution says payments will be made in October 2026.

The Autauga County Commission voted unanimously on Aug. 11 to adopt Resolution 2026-48, electing the county to come under Section 2 of Act 2026-608 and provide the funds necessary for a one-time lump-sum payment to eligible retirees and beneficiaries. Commissioner Rusty Jacksland moved for adoption and Commissioner Terry Tanner seconded the motion; the measure carried by unanimous vote.
