Autauga County Commission adopts regional 2025–2030 hazard mitigation plan
The Autauga County Commission unanimously adopted Resolution No. 2026-49 on Sept. 1, 2026, formally adopting the 2025–2030 Division D (East Alabama Regional) Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan under the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 to guide mitigation goals and actions.

The Autauga County Commission voted unanimously Sept. 1 to adopt Resolution No. 2026-49, formally accepting the 2025–2030 Division D (East Alabama Regional) Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The motion to approve the resolution was made by Commissioner Terry Tanner and seconded by Commissioner John L. Thrailkill; the minutes record the decision as carried by a unanimous vote of the five-member commission.
