The Winlock City Council appointed David (Dave) Anderson to the vacant Position 1 seat after a brief executive session. The appointment passed with two ayes and one no; Mayor Marincin administered the oath of office.

The Winlock City Council appointed David Anderson to fill the vacant Council Position 1 during its Aug. 24 meeting. Councilwoman Alishia Hornburg moved to appoint Anderson; Councilwoman Jodie Curtis seconded the motion. The motion carried with Curtis and Hornburg voting aye and Councilman Chuck Camps voting no.
