At an agenda review, district officials described a new, student-level baseline for industry certifications in CTE programs and said every senior will have two testing windows; staff produced a certification-by-program document for 16 programs to guide monitoring.

At the Pittsburgh Public Schools agenda review meeting, board members were briefed on item 8.09, which establishes a student-level baseline for industry-based credentials in the district's career and technical education (CTE) programs. Dr. Walters said the district disaggregated state-reported data by individual student and program to create a usable baseline for the 2025–26 school year.
