Pacifico Energy officials and a Brewster County landowner briefed county commissioners and residents on Sept. 15 about an early-stage proposal for a large off‑grid data center campus paired with on‑site power generation. Matthew Gomes, Pacifico’s senior director of development, said the team is still in "step 1" of a five‑step process: stakeholder outreach, site surveys, planning, design and construction.
