Staff said an editorial correction to special inspections (Chapter 17.5) was supported to return to the 2021 approach limiting special inspection to risk-category 4 structures, and recommended incorporation of that change into the draft. The presenter also flagged a proposal to revise Chapter 1608 to allow uniform roof snow loads, noting it aligns with changes approved in the IRC.
