Robert Lee ISD trustees adopt resolutions on minimum and committed fund balances
Trustees approved a resolution setting the minimum fund balance for year ending Aug. 31, 2027 and a separate resolution on committed fund balance after recommendations from Superintendent Hood; both motions passed unanimously.

Superintendent Hood recommended two related resolutions: one to set the district's minimum fund balance for the fiscal year ending Aug. 31, 2027, and a second to establish policy on committed fund balance. Trustee Micky Baker moved to approve the minimum-fund-balance resolution and Sandy Sawyer seconded; Trustee Jeremy Burns moved to approve the committed-fund-balance resolution and Wes Washam seconded. Both motions carried with all trustees present voting in favor.
