Education Committee approves new degree programs, extends test-optional policy
The Education Committee authorized two standalone Doctor of Audiology programs, a Ph.D. in educational leadership, a BFA in graphic design, policy revisions at UW–Stout, and extended the test-optional freshman admissions policy through 2027–28 for further data analysis.

The system's Education Committee reported approval of several academic program requests and policy changes. Regents approved UW–Madison and UW–Stevens Point each to offer independent Doctor of Audiology programs (replacing a prior collaborative model), a Ph.D. in Wisconsin IDEA Executive Educational Leadership at UW–Madison, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design at UW–Superior.
