Board approves emergency operations plan; document kept confidential under state law

The board voted to approve the district's updated emergency operations plan after administrators said the revisions were limited to name and signature‑page updates and an adjustment to the campus list that removed references to Lake Minatare. "This is one of the very few things that we don't present to the public during the year. There is Nebraska Revised Statute 84-712.05, which does allow this document to remain confidential as it solely pertains to the protection and security of public property and persons," a presenter said.
