East Ridge planning commission approves Magnolia Way preliminary plat after adding WWTA easement
The East Ridge Planning Commission approved the preliminary plat for the Magnolia Way subdivision (68 single-family lots on about 10 acres) on Sept. 16, 2026, adding language to WWTA condition No. 2 to require an easement; the measure passed 3–0 with one abstention.

The East Ridge Planning Commission voted to approve the preliminary plat for the proposed Magnolia Way subdivision on Sept. 16, 2026. Chairperson Tuggle presided over the vote after staff recommended approval with a set of conditions from WWTA, the East Ridge Fire Marshal and the RPA; commissioners voted yes, with Commissioner Cornelius recorded as abstaining "due to a professional reasons."
