Staff presented CEP26-0003 as a conditional-use permit request to allow a light-industrial meat-processing operation on a 421.5-acre parcel; staff recommended approval with conditions addressing setbacks, building and plumbing requirements, and several agency comments. "These these are the comments that DEQ have provided. We did receive on July 21," staff said, summarizing state environmental concerns including air-quality review, a written solid-waste management plan, and wastewater permitting requirements.
