Staff and commission members identified duplicate language in the draft economic-development policies (notably ED2 and ED5) and proposed consolidating them to reduce redundancy and align references to employment areas and transportation access.

During review of the economic-development chapter, Chair (S2) flagged similar policies that could be merged to reduce repetition. "I was thinking that a e d 2 and e d 5. Both of them refer back to employment areas with adequate transportation if they could be combined as well," the Chair said.
