CVSO Michelle Wynveen reported that the preliminary Veterans Service Commission budget, which includes a modest Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), was informally presented to the Finance Director and County Administrator on Aug. 26, 2026. Wynveen said management expressed no reservations or concerns about the proposed figures; the budget will proceed to the Calumet County Board of Supervisors for formal consideration as part of the county’s annual budget process.
