Hancock County commissioners approve multiple fund transfers and purchase authorizations

The Hancock County Board of Commissioners convened Sept. 15 and approved the minutes from Sept. 10, 2026, an amended travel request for the County Engineer, and a set of routine fiscal measures. The measures included Resolution #606-26 authorizing payment of listed purchase orders and intra-fund transfers under Resolutions #607-26 ($2,000 to Guardianship Services Board Fund #8250), #608-26 ($450 to General Fund #1001 Treasurer) and #609-26 ($6,500 to General Fund #1001 Commissioners). Each motion was made by Commissioner William Bateson and seconded by Commissioner Timothy Bechtol; all passed 3-0.
