The Acton Select Board opened its meeting by inviting firefighters and the deputy sheriff to the front of the room and observing the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Chair (S1) called the meeting to order and noted the board would address routine business after introductions.
