Council approves FlexRead software contract for $3,995 first-year support
The council approved purchasing FlexRead support and software for $3,995 for year one with a 3% annual increase for years two through five; the vote was 5-0 on Aug. 13.

On Aug. 13 the New Strawn City Council voted 5-0 to purchase FlexRead support and software, with a year-one price of $3,995 and an annual 3% increase for years two through five. Council member Stephanie Baker moved "to approve obtaining FlexRead support and software for $3,995 for year 1 with a 3% increase for each of years 2 through 5," and the motion carried unanimously.
