Marcellus Township adopts 2027 budget, levies same millage
The Marcellus Township board voted June 16 to adopt the 2027 budget and to collect the maximum taxes allowed by law, the same millage as last fiscal year; trustees cited state-level property tax changes as a looming revenue concern.

Marcellus Township Supervisor Edward Koshar moved that the board "collect maximum taxes allowed by law, which is the same amount as last fiscal year," and the board approved the motion to adopt the 2027 budget and the millages discussed during the preceding Truth-in-Taxation hearing. The motion carried unanimously at the June 16 meeting.
