Moorhead Human Rights Commission approves minutes, issues land acknowledgment and lists community events
The commission opened with a land acknowledgment, approved the 07/15/2026 minutes by voice vote, heard two nonprofit presentations and announced community events including Girls in Aviation Day (Sept. 19) and a hospice memorial walk (Sept. 20).

The Moorhead Human Rights Commission convened, read a land acknowledgment and recorded roll call naming several commissioners present including Yvette Ellis, Anna Rajesh and Jennifer Aranda. The commission voted to approve the minutes from the July 15, 2026 meeting; a second was recorded by Commissioner Jennifer Aranda and the motion was announced as passed.
