The Florence Mayor and Board entered executive session at 6:37 p.m. to discuss a personnel matter in the Fire Department. In executive session, on recommendation of Fire Chief Richard Wilson, the board voted to hire KeAndre R. Woods as a part-time firefighter at $17.00 per hour, with employment to begin April 22, 2026. The motion was made by Alderman Banks and seconded by Alderman Martin and carried unanimously.
