County commissioner briefs council on August millage reauthorization, planning restructure and audit

Clinton County Commissioner Zach Rudat briefed the Fowler Village Council on several county items at the June 9 meeting. He said voters will see an August ballot question to reauthorize the county's constitutional millage (5.8 mills), the general law township millage (1.0 mill) and an intermediate school district millage (0.2 mill); reauthorizations occur every four years and are subject to Headlee Amendment rollback mechanics.
