The Marshalltown Planning and Zoning Commission held a work session Sept. 17 to review a multi‑ordinance package focused on data centers and other infrastructure‑intensive developments. Staff said the current draft runs 28 pages and asked the commission for direction before preparing draft #2 for public review. "This draft is 28 pages," the staff member said, urging commissioners to focus comments on thresholds and review processes.
