The board voted to pursue a public school facility improvement grant to replace leaking boilers at the middle school and the district administration building and to consider converting some systems from oil to propane for greater reliability. Administration described ongoing leaks and parts-obsolescence for older boilers and said the intent of the application is to offset local costs.
