Decatur schedules water-main replacements on Winchester and Jefferson; Walnut work progressing

Utilities Auditor Erin Heyerly told the council that main work will begin Wednesday to replace the water main on Winchester Street from Canterbury Drive to Tiger Street and on Jefferson Street from 7th to 2nd Street, and warned that lane closings and possibly street closings are likely while work is underway.
