The Board set public hearings for Monday, Sept. 14, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to consider three rezoning applications submitted by Chisel Mill Design & Build LLC. Case PC26‑001 seeks to rezone Parcel #028‑029 (36.81 acres) from Rural Reserve to R‑1 to permit 1.5‑acre lots; PC26‑002 concerns Parcel #027‑009 (11.89 acres) and PC26‑003 concerns Parcels #027‑012 and #027‑012‑001 (25.87 acres). County Attorney Michael Hill noted the recently adopted moratorium would not affect applications already submitted.
