The board voted to approve a streamlined volunteer policy (agenda item 4.4, GDG 04) after prior drafts included lengthy implementation attachments. Superintendent CJ Anderson said the revised policy "acknowledges the importance of volunteers and, and also lays forth kind of the district's responsibilities in making sure that we find productive ways to have volunteers on campus, but also do so from a, you know, a very thoughtful standpoint to make sure our students are are well protected."
