Committee approves pay for Lynn Ruffi when she staffs Parks events
The New Haven Parks and Recreation Committee approved paying Lynn Ruffi for event work at the same rate committee members receive when assigned to events. The motion passed unanimously after members cited her on-site assistance with vendors and bands.

Parks and Recreation Committee member Veranda Rucker moved Aug. 18 that Lynn Ruffi be paid for the events she staffs at the same rate paid to committee members when assigned to events; the motion was supported by Barbara Williams and passed on a unanimous vote.
