Committee members urge MOU talks and funding plan before any SRO reinstatement
Several committee members said the school board and city council would need to negotiate a memorandum of understanding and funding plan before SROs could return. Chief Spiller and staff said SROs would require budget decisions and that grant options exist but can require city matches.
