The Lake County Board of Supervisors on Sept. 15 adopted a proclamation designating September 2026 as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in Lake County. Supervisor Crandall read the proclamation, which asks residents, organizations and service providers to raise awareness, reduce stigma and support community connections to prevent suicide.
