Smith County Commissioners voted Sept. 30 to approve a Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) off-system bridge replacement contract for M Road between 180 Road and 190 Road. Assistant Road Supervisor Travis Story presented the contract and the board reviewed its scope before a motion by Commissioner Jim Gwennap, seconded by Commissioner Dale Pickel, to approve the agreement; the motion carried unanimously.
