The Smith County Board of Commissioners unanimously accepted a KDOT detour agreement that covers 300 Rd between U Rd and Y Rd and the adjacent stretches of U Rd and Y Rd between 300 Rd and 310 Rd. Commissioner Jim Gwennap moved to accept the cost‑share proposal and Commissioner Dale Pickel seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
