Kearney formalizes dispatch MOU with Clay County Sheriff's Office
The board approved Bill 11 20 25 to formalize emergency dispatch services provided by the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Police Chief Mark Thomas said the MOU documents a long-standing dispatch relationship and does not change current service levels or prices.

The Kearney Board of Aldermen approved a memorandum of understanding on March 3 establishing dispatching services between the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Kearney. Police Chief Mark Thomas told the board that Clay County has provided dispatch services to Kearney for many years and that the MOU simply documents the arrangement.
