The county's procurement committee and board selected vendors May 5 for two public-health and parks projects. Commissioner Gomez Cordero moved to select Hope and Health Center of Central Florida Inc. as the primary provider for the needle-exchange, infectious disease elimination and related program; Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention Services Inc. was selected as the alternate. The motion carried unanimously after committee staff presented scoring results.
