Human Resources Director Beth Deardorff presented payroll change notices at the Sept. 8 Dallas County supervisors meeting. Secondary Roads requested hiring a new Assistant to the County Engineer with a pay range of $43.24–$47.47 per hour. Deardorff also reported the retirement of Leslie Cox, assistant HR director, effective Dec. 18, 2026, and asked permission to recruit for the Assistant Director of Human Resources position at an annual salary range of $99,278.40–$109,595.20.
