The Dallas County Board of Supervisors on Feb. 3 adopted Resolution 2026-0016 to approve the appointment of Brian Mathis as a deputy in the Dallas County Sheriff's Office. The resolution states Mathis’ term began Jan. 21, 2026, and will expire Dec. 31, 2028.
