Select Board notes small change in parcels and acreage on the grand list

During the tax-rate discussion members flagged that the town's grand list shows four fewer parcels and a net change of 19 acres from last year. The board said such changes can result from subdivisions, merging contiguous parcels, plot-surveys or deeds and sometimes from land placed into conservation, any of which can affect the totals used to calculate taxation.
