City awards $190,792 WWTP gate valve replacement contract to low bidder RCL
The Commission awarded a $190,792 contract to RCL for replacement of corroded gate valves at the Waste Water Treatment Plant; staff said replacements will allow clarifier rehab and better level control of treatment ponds.

City staff reported that the Waste Water Treatment Plant’s gate valves had reached the end of their useful life because of chemical corrosion and normal wear. The Commission accepted the sole low bidder, RCL, and awarded the contract in the amount of $190,792 by adoption of Resolution 2026-041.
