Laredo ISD opens RISE Academy to support students transitioning to adulthood
Laredo Independent School District on Friday celebrated the opening of the RISE Academy, a new program and facility designed to give students with special needs vocational training and supports; classes began Aug. 10 with 38 students enrolled.
