The board approved two special-event requests: a Lafayette Fire Support Foundation 5K (presented by Kara Webb of Greater Lafayette Commerce) — described as the event’s third year on the same route — and a Monon Neighborhood block party, which will close Ball Street Saturday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. after the applicant confirmed neighbor notification.
