The Wilson County ad hoc legislative committee spent much of its meeting reviewing Public Chapter 10-44, a state provision that sets statutory timelines for local development approvals. The chair said the committee wants to focus on “bills and laws that directly affect the operations of the county government” and recommended sending detailed suggested edits to Planning & Zoning for a line-by-line markup.
