Transportation staff displayed the final design for the Thompson Peak Parkway bridge and said the construction contract will be taken to City Council. Staff highlighted an aesthetic/material choice: a metal feature will replace wood for longevity while matching the existing bridge's style. "We are going to council for the construction contract," Nathan said, and staff indicated construction work is slated to start in October.
