Deputy City Manager Lee Nontneris presented proposed changes to the Youth Commission ordinance and rules of procedure after the commission's first pilot year. The key changes approved by council include increasing membership from 12 to 15, removing the distinction between voting and alternate members, moving the commission term end from Sept. 30 to June 30 to avoid summer scheduling problems, and allowing staff to set a regular meeting schedule to improve participation.
