Commissioner says PUD conflicts with Henry County comprehensive-plan protections

Commissioner Susan told the work session the PUD's claim of consistency with the county plan warrants close scrutiny, asserting the property is identified in the 2018 Henry County Comprehensive Plan as partly prime agricultural land that the plan calls to protect. "The Comprehensive Plan states that prime agricultural land should be preserved," she said while urging commissioners to consider the 2018 plan language along with the more recent corridor study.
