The board approved a Grenell quote totaling $10,491 to add four pull stations and multiple wall and ceiling horn/strobe devices to improve alarm coverage in the old courthouse. Facilities staff explained the work would add three wall horn strobes and three ceiling horn strobes in key locations to ensure alarms carry to the third floor and to meet code; the board asked about sound levels and whether occupants could still function during an alarm.
